Vrystellings-kommunikasie
1. Ek sal graag sodra die vrystelling gedoen is vir die ouers direk van D6 af die uitslag van hul aansoek deurstuur, maw ‘n brief genereer wat ek kan pos of epos. Al die data is op stelsel om dit te kan doen.
Report for SMS sent (delivered/undelivered/pending)
I would like to have the following feature added to the communication history. Previously we used D6 communicator to sms or email parents. In the sms report is showed whether the sms was delivered or undelivered or pending. (See attachment) However in D6+ we don't have this info. This is important as out teacher are asked to keep evidence that parents where informed.

Communication Parent
Currently the system allows you to set Parent 1 and 2 not to receive communication and therefore when you choose "Preferred Communication Parent", these parents will be excluded from receiving communication. I think there should be a rule not to allow this because surely at least one of the parents should receive communication.
Streaming Events to Parents & Clocking
Many schools are approached now by various streaming services that sell their service to broadcast events at the school to parents, perhaps d6 can integrate or it would also be nice to have a platform available for students/ teachers to upload content in real-time for broadcasting. Another request from schools is to have a clocking system linked to whereabouts late-for-class or absentees within d6+
Warning of D6 Connect going live
We accidentally went live on D6 by simply choosing a background colour for the app which we were hoping to launch in a few months. There was no warning that came up, telling us that this would now activate the app and allow parents to link themselves and their children. We only realised this was happening when some parents (who knew about the app because of another school) were able to access their marks. As you can expect, this caused quite a bit of an upset.
