PLEASE can the super user role be included as a right for a user.

The reason is that if you are currently logged in and doing something – a user needs to have their password reset. I have to logon as super user to do so. Then when I come back to the admin user I was working with, it has forgotten me and only shows the superuser icons. Very frustrating and unnecessary to have to keep logging out and logging in when the user rights can allow me to do superuser actions from within my own profile
