The suggestion is due to the sheer volume of notifications that do not necessarily apply to all the recipients resulting in some being missed.

My suggestion is the ability for schools to create and manage "channels".

Channels could be something like grades (e.g. Grade 1), age groups for sports (e.g. U/7), specific types of sports (e.g. Cricket, Hockey) etc.

Schools can then tag comms with any one (or multiple) of these or none - which then is deemed "general".
On the d6 app, parents can the choose to filter comms for specific channels only. This will allow parents to only see comms that are relevant to them or their children based on the channels as well as all general ones.

Hope this makes sense and would be really excited to see if this sees the light of day!
