Code of conduct: Link specific violations to a specific detention

I would like to have a feature where specific code of conduct violations can be linked to a particular detention. Our parents regularly express confusion, because they cannot figure out which violations are responsible for a particular detention. It would be useful if the violations could somehow be "reconciled" to a detention, in a similar way that the bank statements are reconciled.
