We have asked this before and I see some other schools have also listed the need.

We have a need for a function to automatically email the detention letters (that is already generated) to parents. At the moment we have to download and save 20+ letters, then open an email and attach the letter and copy the correct email address in and then mail. 

Please could this be looked at?
