STATEMENTS : CREATE USER FIELDS / EMAIL OF STATEMENTS

User / School have no customizable fields to edit according to their needs.

EMAIL ADDRESS ON STATEMENT:
The email address on the statement automatically changes to whomever is set up as financial manager.
It would make more sense for the Debtors clerks details to be on a statement, but I do understand that some schools this may not be the case.  I have now changed our fin.managers email address to the debtors email but this creates another issue... when you look at contact details of  fin manager on the system you will see debtors email address!

PAYMENT REFERENCE :
Current Family reference [d6 family code] [surname] (old family code + Old Pastel code)
Example 001215 - Ackermann (AC08 A024)

This extremely long Payment reference shows on the customers statement.  We now get parents trying to add exactly that to their bank beneficiary and its just tooooooo long.  Other parents have now changed their current references to only the last part of the code marked in red in my example. Which is all the old family codes! Again I understand that this family code is crucial on the system to find users still using the old references but IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE adding this to their statement reference! This is not encouraging anyone to use CORRECT new references when paying school fees.

SENDING STATEMENTS
Please connect the statements that I have sent from D6 to my email address so that I can see them in my outbox.  I use my sent emails function in outlook a lot
1) I can check to whom I have emailed
2)  What was the body of the email that I have sent, I usually ad personalized messages to my statements  3)  Use this to follow up on payments to show that I did send them a statement, I did sent personalized request with the statement etc.  I feel that the process to send individual statements for follow up via D6 is time consuming.  one - by  - one.  Also time consuming when I need to go to a learner account to see whether or not the mother and father receive statements
