I wish to suggest that D6+ program get an option at the staff absenteeism to record if the employee have submitted his or her leave form.
We at Laerskool Duvhapark had a training session and I've noticed that the D6+ do not have an option at the staff absenteeism to indicate if the employee have submitted his or her leave application form.
This comes back to the database to be submitted to the DOE via valistractor. Currently SASAMS has an option indicating if the staff member has submitted his or leave form. A yes for outstanding and a No for not outstanding. If the staff did not submit his or her leave application, her or his name is visible on a report of outstanding leave forms, making it easier for both administration and principal's to control outstanding leave forms.
The yes or no factor for leave forms submitted also has an influence on the valistractor program, changing a colour from green to red (green - good) (red - bad)
