Electronic Document Signing and Automated Data Integration

Suggestion: 

I would like to propose the development of a feature that enables electronic document signing combined with automated data integration within D6. This would allow parents to complete, sign, and submit re-registration and registration forms electronically.

Proposed Workflow:

  1. Data is exported from D6 into a fillable PDF document,  eg Pandadoc or any other similar applications, that parents can update electronically.

  2. Once the parent completes the form, they can press a “Finish” or “Submit” button.

  3. The completed form is then emailed back to the administrator or directly uploaded to D6.

  4. Upon upload, the system guides the user through a series of prompts showing detected changes.

  5. If the changes are accepted, the system automatically updates the learner’s profile with the new information.

  6. The electronically submitted form is then saved as a reduced-size PDF under the learner’s profile for record-keeping.

This process would streamline administration, improve data accuracy, and make the registration experience significantly more efficient and user-friendly for parents.
