The 'reports'-function on d6 is extremely limited.  I need to supply all kinds of reports - age/religion/previous school/gender (usually a combination of a few) or the latest totals per subject group per grade for the whole school.  Excel is useful, but it can become very time-consuming depending on what you are looking for.
