With Foreign Learners enrolled at SA schools and the Governments concern around the funding of such learners. it became vital that the necessary and compulsory information about their legality be captured, and available on demand.
Parents:
1. Must have a Passport number.
2. Must have a Passport Expiry Date.
Learners:
1. Must have a Passport Number
2. Must have a Passport Expiry Date.
3. Must have Medical aid cover to Qualify for a Study Permit.
4. Must have a Study permit Number.
5. Must have a Study permit Expiry Date.
It is vital that the Passport for Parent and Passport and Study permit for the learner covers the year of enrolment.
At present the D6 Registration form do not make provision for some of this Compulsory information.
1. It is important that this information are Requested on the Registration Questionnaire.
2. it is important that the Registration Template reflect the answers to these questions and that it reflects in fields on the spreadsheet when "More Detail" is selected.
3. It is important that the fields are grouped with the person in Question information. (Learner info grouped with all other learner info), (Parent 1 info grouped with all other Parent 1 info), (Parent 2 info grouped with all other Parent 2 info).
4. One must be able to select and download all Foreign Learner information to a report or Excel file.
