Multiple debit orders per family on d6 & StratCol integration
Good day,
We have decided to make use of StratCol for the integration benefit as well as cost saving after implementing d6 at the beginning of 2023.
But it is problematic that d6 don't allow for multiple banking details on a family for the debit orders to be deducted via StratCol. We have cases as follow where a family have multiple debit orders:
- Mother & father share the cost of fees (School Fees, Music fees, Aftercare fees, etc.) amongst them
- Mother & father split the fees per learner amongst them having more than one learner in the school.
- Divorced or blended families results in more than one parent paying for fees or children.
StratCol and the banks can accommodate multiple debit orders per family, but the d6 setup don't allow for it. This really a major issue and it will be great if d6 can address it as this is for sure a reality in schools and families and the tendency is increasing as well.
I would suggest that d6 allow us to load multiple banking details on a family and then to be able to link the banking details on 2 levels being learner & billing type. We will be able to inform parents that we can't split a billing type but we must be able to allocate against learner and billing type.
By not being able to accommodate multiple banking details, the integration benefit using StratCol is then not helpful. Please assist, because the integration and cost can add a lot of benefits for us.
Thank you
Leana
