We propose implementing a feature that sends push notifications to parents. This feature will allow teachers to inform parents about their child’s test results, enhancing communication regarding their child’s performance. We suggest that staff upload test results directly to the app as soon as the tests are marked. This will enable parents to immediately see their child’s results for a test. For example, after a class test or any test is graded, a notification can be sent to the parents stating that their child scored 10 out of 20, who the teacher is that uploaded the mark, for which subject, and what type of test it was. This feature would be particularly useful for smaller class tests that do not contribute to the term or year-end grades.
