D6 has spoiled us ☺ Everything can be exported, imported and/or generated with just a few clicks of the keyboard. 

Something that would be EXTREMELY helpful to me is system generated letters. 

For example, instead of doing generic letters or exporting class lists and mailmerging the information into Word, d6 could give us the option of creating letters.

There could be a field where the body of the letter could be typed and then the relevant learners' names, grades and classes inserted at the top. The letter could then be populated into pdf format, with the school letterhead already inserted. That way it can just be printed or even better - emailed directly from the system, or both! I work at a more rural school and many parents still don't have the d6 app or even email facilities. Sometimes we need to print something to send home because the learner lives with granny.

I would use this function a LOT!

(PS If you want to take this above and beyond, it would be great if we could create our own, user (or school) specific templates to use. But maybe that's asking a bit too much ☺
