Academic Criteria: Criteria Setup
The Criteria Setup allows you to create rules that determine which learners qualify for an achievement. Formulas are built visually by dragging components from the right into the formula field.
My School > Achievements > Databases > Academic Criteria
Follow this setup order: 1. Functions, 2. Variables, 3. Modifiers (optional)
Example: Top 10 learners per grade (Quarters 1, 2 and 3)
Drag a Logic field onto the red block.
Drag PositionInGrade onto value 1, then drag Average onto value 1 of PositionInGrade.
Drag Quarter 1, Quarter 2, and Quarter 3 as variables into the value fields.
Set value 2 to 10 and click the test button to verify the formula.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my formula is correct?
Click the test button after setting up the formula. The system will display a list of learners who meet the criteria.
What is a preset formula?
Preset formulas are standard criteria rules already built by d6. Select one from the dropdown to save time instead of building a formula from scratch.
