How to use Action Control
The Action Control function is task-driven. Action Control tasks only appear once a learner has reached a set number of violations as configured in the Action Setup module, and after Process Actions has been finalised.

How do I access Action Control?
A task appears when you log in (My Home > My Info > My Tasks). The page opens with a list of outstanding action controls. To view letters for a specific action, click the radio button next to the action and click View.
How do I process Action Control for a Detention Notification?
Click the blue eye icon next to the action.
Remove learners if needed by ticking the checkbox and clicking Remove.
Tick the checkbox next to each learner who attended the detention and click Continue.
Once all learners are processed, the action disappears from the list.
Frequently asked questions
I removed a learner but their name still appears.
The learner's violations have not yet been removed from the system. Go to My School > People > Learners: Discipline, click the radio button next to the relevant violation and click Remove.
No Action Control tasks appear on my Tasks screen.
Action Control tasks can only be viewed by people who have access to them. Confirm with your System Administrator that you have the necessary access.
