How to generate an admission or left register

The Admission/Left Register generates a list of learners admitted to or who have left the school, per grade, for a specific period. This article explains how to configure and generate the report.

How do I generate an admission or left register?

The admission/left register configuration screen:

  1. Select the register type: Admission register or Left register.

  2. Choose to show Admission for a Period.

  3. Choose the relevant year and date range.

  4. Select whether to sort by Learner number or Surname.

  5. Select whether to include Left learners.

  6. Select the register classes on the left-hand side and click on the right to allocate them.

  7. Click Preview to generate the report as a PDF.

  8. Download the report using the down arrow button, or print it using the printer icon in the top-right corner.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between an Admission Register and a Left Register?

The Admission Register lists learners who were admitted to the school during the selected period. The Left Register lists learners who left the school during the selected period.

What are No Show learners?

No Show learners are learners who registered but never actually attended the school. You can choose to include or exclude them from the register using the No Show option.

Can I generate the register for a specific date range?

Yes. Select Period and then specify the from and to dates to generate the register for a custom date range.

Can I download the register instead of printing it?

Yes. Once the PDF preview is open, click the down arrow button to download the report to your device.
