How to set up and manage Budget Categories
- To add a budget category, click on the " Add " button.
- Enter the budget category name in both English and Afrikaans.
- Choose the account type for the budget category. It can either be an Income/Expense account or a Capital account.
- If you are finished, click the "Add " button to add the budget category.
How to edit a budget category
- To edit a budget category, click on the radio button next to the budget category and click on the "edit" button
- Edit the entries as required and click on the "save" button
How to delete a budget category
- To delete a budget category, click on the radio button next to the budget category and click on the "delete" button to delete the budget category
If you want to delete a budget category that is still linked to a General Ledger Account, you would first have to unlink it from the GL Account and then delete it
