How to set up and manage Budget Categories
- To add a budget category, click on the " Add " button.
- Enter the budget category name in both English and Afrikaans.
- Choose the account type for the budget category. It can either be an Income/Expense account or a Capital account.
- If you are finished, click the "Add " button to add the budget category.
How to edit a budget category
To edit a budget category, click on the radio button next to the budget category and click on the "edit" button
Edit the entries as required and click on the "save" button
How to delete a budget category
To delete a budget category, click on the radio button next to the budget category and click on the "delete" button to delete the budget category
If you want to delete a budget category that is still linked to a General Ledger Account, you would first have to unlink it from the GL Account and then delete it
