The Gauteng Department of Basic Education (GDE) uses a monthly E-register template in Excel format for learner absences. d6+ is integrated with this template.
Capture absences as usual at My School > Learners > Absences or My School > Learners > Learner Leave.
If Excel export rights have been assigned, the E-Register button appears at the bottom of the screen. Click to download the prepared template.
Click Enable editing to open the file.
If the message appears “There is already data in [xxx] GDE Annex A. Do you want to replace it?”, click Yes.
Save separately per grade and per month, and update the headings where necessary.
For more information contact compliance@d6.co.za.
