POSSIBLE PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED WHEN GENERATING REPORTS

  • When you generate a report in PDF format and it seems that nothing is happening it is likely that it is being caused by a pop-up blocker. See steps below to remove the pop-up blocker.

    When you see this message after generating the report preview, but no preview is displayed, look for this "Pop-up Blocked" message message at the top of your screen in the URL bar.

  • Click on the message and select the second option to allow pop-ups for your school.



    Generate the report again. 

HOW TO CHECK THE POP-UP BLOCKER STATUS

  • Click on "My Home | Check Pop-up Blocker" to run the test.
    If your popup blocker is on the following message will display.

    Current Status:
     
    Your popup blocker is currently blocking system functionality. Please follow the instructions below to turn off your popup blocker

    Instructions for Google Chrome:

    1. You will see the      icon in the address bar. Click the icon to see a list of blocked pop-ups.

    2. Select "Always show pop-ups from [your school URL]". The site will be added to the exceptions list, which you can manage in the Content Settings dialog.

When you use Internet Explorer and you experience issues such as, a message "d6Plus.co.za has stopped working", or only a blank screen. The following guidelines should be followed:

Option 1:

  • In Internet Explorer, on the screen where you encounter a problem, press the "F12" key on your keyboard.
  • Click on "Browser Mode" on the dialog block that comes up and make sure you click on “Compatibility View”.
  • The program will now automatically update your changes and navigate you to the login screen. Enter your username and password and recreate your report. The problem should no longer exist.

Option 2:

  • Download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader (free of charge). The website is "https://get.adobe.com/reader/"
  • If the bank statement does not want to download from Absa in Finances, take the following steps:
  • Go to Tools, Internet Options.
  • Select the Privacy tab and remove the tick at "Turn on pop-up blocker".
  • Select the "Advanced" tab and click on both buttons to reset the settings.
