Use the school communicator
The School Communicator is an integrated communications solution that allows you to communicate with parents using a variety of tools, including SMS, email, and push notifications.

How do I enable communicator access for a staff member?
Navigate to My School > Staff > Staff.
Click the edit button next to the selected staff member, or select the radio button and click Edit.
Scroll down to the Communication Rights Information section.
Using the dropdown, select Yes to allow the user to use the Communicator function.
Click Save to store the information.
Frequently asked questions
Why can I not access the school communicator?
Access to the communicator is granted at school level by the system administrator. If you are unable to access it, you have not been assigned rights. Contact your system administrator to assign communicator rights.
Is there a character limit for notices?
Yes, the body of the article has a limit of 800 characters.
Can I send notices to specific groups only?
Yes, select the Select Groups option to choose specific groups that should receive the notice, rather than sending to all groups.
