Frequently asked questions

Can I undo a member deletion?

No. Deleting a member permanently removes them from your community and all groups. If you need to add them back, you will have to re-add them manually or via a bulk import.

Will the member be notified when I delete them?

Only if you choose the notification option during the deletion process. If you select it, the member will receive a message informing them they have been removed from the community.

Can I delete members in bulk?

Yes. Tick the checkboxes next to multiple members in the Members list, then click the orange dustbin icon at the top of the list to delete them all at once.

What happens to a deleted member's linked parents or children?

The linked members (parents or children) remain in the database but the link between them and the deleted member is removed. They will no longer be associated with each other.
