The Discipline Action Control function is task-driven. Action Control tasks only appear once a learner has reached a set number of violations as configured in the Action Setup module, and after Action Processing has been completed.
My School > System > Code of Conduct > Action Control
Action Control can be accessed in two ways:
A task notification will appear when you log in to the system.
Navigate directly to My School > Code of Conduct > Code of Conduct: Action Control.
The page opens with a list of pending control actions. Choose one of the actions you would like to process, and click on Preview letters to generate the letters.
Important: Ensure your selection is correct before clicking Continue.
Click the blue eye icon next to the action.
To delete a learner from the list: If a learner's violations have been removed but the name still appears, tick the checkbox next to the learner's name and click Delete. Confirm the removal.
To finalise the action: Tick the checkboxes next to the learners who have attended detention and click Continue.
Once all learners are processed and Continue is clicked, the action disappears from the list.
Interview with Parents: Click the blue eye icon and follow the same steps as for Notice of Detention.
Interview with SGB: Click the blue eye icon and follow the same steps as for Notice of Detention.
Action Control tasks only appear once the learner has reached the violation threshold configured in Action Setup and Action Processing has been completed. Check that both steps have been done.
