To edit a learner's information, you first need to locate the learner record. Once found, the same 6-step process used to register a learner is available for editing.

How do I find the learner I want to edit?
There are two ways to search for a learner:
Use the Search for Learner(s) dropdown and select a search field: Number, Surname, Nickname, Family Code, Family, Cell Phone Number, ID Number, or Full Names. Type the relevant information in the field to the right and click Search.
Type a learner's surname or family code directly into the search block — the system will automatically filter matching results.
Refine results further using the filter dropdowns: Status (Current, Left, Waitlisted, Duplicate), Grade, Class, and Gender. You can also type the first 3 letters of a name or surname in the field below the gender filter.
How do I edit the learner's information?
Click the Edit button next to the learner's name.
Click the appropriate tab and add or edit the required information.
Click Save changes when finished.
Frequently asked questions
Can I edit a learner who has already left the school?
If a learner is marked as Left (shown in red), you can only view their information — except for the Billing tab (Step 3), which remains editable. This allows the school to continue collecting outstanding fees by debit order after the learner has left.
How do I edit a family's name?
A family name can only be edited in the Families function. Go to My School > People > Parents > Families and edit the relevant record there.
