The Educator Timetables module provides a personalized view of the school’s academic schedule for individual staff members. Once a timetable has been finalized in the d6+ Timetabler module (or a compatible external tool) and uploaded, this feature allows administrators and teachers to access specific teaching schedules, including subject allocations and assigned venues.
My School > Staff > Timetables: Educator Timetables
This module is essential for managing human resources and daily academic operations. It is used to:
Provide Personal Schedules: Give educators a clear view of their teaching load, including where they need to be for every period.
Monitor Staff Utilization: Allow administrators to verify teacher availability for substitutions or meetings.
Facilitate Substitution Planning: Identify "free periods" for staff members during the school day.
Select the Academic Year from the dropdown menu.
Select the relevant Term (ensure the timetable for this term has been uploaded).
The system will display a list of all staff members currently loaded in the system.
Locate the specific staff member in the list.
Click on the Educator's Name to open their personalized timetable grid.
The grid will display the cycle days (e.g., Day 1–10), periods, subject names, grades, and the specific classroom numbers assigned to those lessons.
To generate a hard copy for an educator, click the Print this timetable, or you can e-mail the timetable to the staff member by clicking on the Email this timetable option.
Why is an educator's timetable empty? Timetables do not generate automatically based on staff profiles. You must complete the timetable building process and click Publish/Upload in the Timetabler module. If the grid is empty, the data has not yet been synced to the d6+ platform for that specific term.
Can I export all educator schedules to one Excel spreadsheet? No. Clicking the Excel Export button on the main Educator Timetables screen will only export a list of the names of the educators. To get the actual schedule data, you must view the individual profile or use the bulk export reports found within the Timetabler module.
How do I fix a period overlap or an incorrect subject on a teacher's schedule? This view is read-only. All corrections to periods, subjects, or venues must be made within the master timetable in the Timetabler module. Once the correction is saved and re-uploaded, the changes will reflect here automatically.
Restriction: Individual cells in the educator timetable cannot be edited or moved manually on this screen.
Reason: To maintain data integrity across the school. If changes were made here in isolation, they would not reflect on the Classroom or Register Class timetables, leading to scheduling conflicts and double-bookings.
Restriction: If a staff member is not appearing in the list, they cannot have a timetable viewed.
Reason: An educator must have an active profile in My School > Staff > Staff before the system can associate them with any timetable data.
