The canvas uses a 5mm grid. Components snap to the grid, which helps keep your layout neat and aligned.
Only one watermark per page is allowed. The watermark always sits behind all other content.
Changes are not undoable within a session. Save regularly and use Preview to check your layout before generating real reports.
Marks Grid is the most configurable component. Take time to explore its tabs to control exactly what subject data is shown and how.
Both English and Afrikaans are fully supported throughout the system, including email templates and the print language setting.
Preview uses real data. The Preview button generates a sample PDF using a random learner's data from the previous term, so the layout reflects realistic content.
Start in the Builder and lay out the page settings first (size, orientation, margins, footer).
Add the Marks Grid early so the rest of the layout can flow around it.
Add School Data, Learner Data, and any branding (logo, watermark, school stamp).
Add headings, dividers, and remarks sections.
Save and click Preview to check the result against real data.
Adjust and re-preview until you are happy with the layout.
Go back to Setup, choose a small group of learners (one class), and run a test generation.
Once approved, generate or email for the rest of the school.
Yes. You can save as many templates as you need and choose between them on the Setup Screen.

No. Undo is not available within a session. Save regularly so you can return to a previous saved version if needed.
The Flexible Report Cards builder is a new drag-and-drop tool with full layout control. The classic Report Cards function uses fixed templates and remains available for schools who prefer it.
Preview uses one random learner's data from the previous term, so the content is illustrative. Run a test generation on a small group of learners from the current term to see your real output.
The Email Recipients tab in the email dialog shows the count of reachable recipients before you send. Review this count before clicking Commence Email Transmission.
