The Formula Calculation Statement shows the complete calculation analysis of the promotion mark as set up in the template formula or subject-specific formula.
Reports > Learners > Marks and Achievements: Formula Calculation Statement
Select the year, formula type, grade and the learners for whom you want to generate the report.
Select the applicable subjects and transfer them to the right-hand block.
Select the page orientation.
Click Generate report.
If no data is available for a specific grade, it means that the template formulas have not yet been set up. Set up the formulas at My School > System > Curriculum > Year-end Formulas: Template formulas or Subject-specific formulas.
Schools that submit information to the Department of Education must set up subject-specific formulas to comply with DoE requirements. This means that marks must be captured at least at task level throughout the year.
When certain blocks are greyed out, this indicates that marks have not been captured.
Greyed-out blocks indicate that marks have not been captured for that specific assessment or learner.
It means that the template formulas or subject-specific formulas have not yet been set up. Go to My School > System > Curriculum > Year-end Formulas to set up the formulas.
If your school submits information to the Department of Education, yes. Subject-specific formulas are required to comply with DoE requirements.
