My School > General > Hostels

Type <Ctrl> <F> to search for words in the article

Hostels can be set up after indicating that your school has hostels at My School > General >  School Setup > "Does your school have hostels: Yes", 

Add a new Hostel

Click "Add"

Details-tab

  1. Click "Add"
  2. Name:  Enter the Hostel name
  3. Gender: Indicate the gender of learners in the hostel.
  4. Type: This or another school's hostel
  5. Telephone:  Contact number of the Hostel
  6. Address: Hostel physical address
  7. Contact person: Select the staff member responsible for the hostel
  8. Save

Learners-tab

  1. Select the Grade and Class of learners to be allocated.
  2. Select the learners residing in this hostel on the left and move them to the right
  3. Learners that are already allocated to another hostel are indicated in light red with the hostel name in brackets.
  4. Save.
