This article explains how to adjust the view in financial reports to display individual learner names, making it easier to search for specific students and see a breakdown of debt by category.
By default, financial reports list accounts by the primary account holder. To view and filter by individual learner names, follow these steps:
Navigate to Reports > Age Analysis.
Click the Settings/Filter button in the top right-hand corner.
Click the filter/view options again at the top centre of the report settings panel.
From the dropdown menu, select Accounts + Learners + Categories.
Detailed filtering: The report expands to show individual learner names linked to each account, rather than only the primary account holder.
Searchability: You can use the filter tools to search for a specific learner by name instead of searching by the parent or guardian's name.
Category breakdown: This view also shows exactly which categories — such as School Fees, Transport, or Music — the debt belongs to for each specific learner.
Financial reports default to displaying the primary account holder. To include learner names, you need to change the view setting to Accounts + Learners + Categories in the report's filter options.
Navigate to Reports > Age Analysis and apply the Accounts + Learners + Categories view. You can then use the filter tools to search by learner name.
Yes. The Accounts + Learners + Categories view breaks down the outstanding debt per learner by category, such as School Fees, Transport, or Music.
