If the d6 app is behaving strangely, freezing, or showing outdated information, clearing the app's data can often resolve the issue.
Phone Settings → Apps → d6 → Clear Cache/Data → Reopen app
Open your phone's Settings.
Go to Apps or Application Manager.
Find and tap on the d6 app.
Tap on Storage.
Tap Clear Cache first. If the issue persists, tap Clear Data.
Reopen the app and log in again.
iPhones do not have a "clear cache" option. Instead:
Delete the d6 app from your phone.
Reinstall it from the App Store.
Log in with your phone number or email address.
You will need to log in again with your phone number or email. All your schools and settings will be restored once you log in — nothing is permanently lost.
No, your profile and school connections are stored on the server. After logging in again, everything will be restored.
Start with "Clear Cache" as this is less disruptive. If the problem continues, then try "Clear Data" which does a full reset of the app.
Uninstall and reinstall the app completely. If the problem still occurs, contact d6 support for further assistance.
