Push notifications keep you informed about important news from your child's school. If you are not receiving notifications, follow these steps to fix the problem.
Check phone settings → Check app settings → Check groups → Restart app
Open your phone's Settings.
Go to Apps or Notifications.
Find the d6 app and ensure notifications are enabled.
On Android, also check that Battery Optimisation is disabled for the d6 app.
Open the d6 app and go to Settings.
Find Notification Settings or Push Notifications.
Ensure notifications are turned on for the schools and groups you want to hear from.
Go to Settings > Customise Your Groups and make sure the relevant groups are selected. If a group is unticked, you will not receive notifications for it.
Uninstall and reinstall the d6 app. This resets all notification settings. Make sure to allow notifications when prompted during reinstallation.
Each school has separate notification settings. Check that notifications are enabled for all your schools in the app's Settings menu.
Yes, your phone needs an internet connection to receive push notifications. Check that you have data or Wi-Fi enabled.
