The Income and Expenditure report (I&E) provides a summary of all income and expenditure for a selected period against the budget.

How do I generate an Income and Expenditure report?

  1. Select the from and to dates.
  2. Choose the reporting structure.
  3. Select whether to compare against budget.
  4. Click Preview to generate the PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the report show a deficit? Expenditure exceeds income for the selected period. Check individual GL accounts for unbudgeted transactions.

Can I generate the report for a partial year? Yes. Set the from and to dates to cover any date range within the financial year.
