To mark a learner as left, you must open their record, change their status to "Left" or "Duplicate", and print their transfer card. This process helps your school keep learner data accurate.
My School > People > Learners > Learners
Find the learner in the Learner list.
Click the circle to the left of the learner's name to select them.
Click the "Learner leaves school" button that appears at the bottom of the page.
Select whether you want to classify the learner as "Duplicate" or "Left".
Fill in the relevant dates and reason, then click "Save".
After marking the learner as left, click the "View Transfer Card" button.
Select the language in which the transfer card must be printed.
Click "View" and print the document.
Duplicate: Use this status if the same learner was accidentally captured twice in the system. Left: Use this status for learners who have left the school with a reason such as "Transfer" or "Parents relocated".
No. Once a learner has been marked as "Left", the status cannot be reversed. You will need to create a new learner record if you want to re-enrol the same person.
The transfer card is a PDF document containing all the relevant learner details. You can print it in Afrikaans or English.
