Some schools offer tuckshop tags that allow your child to purchase items at the school tuckshop. The purchases are linked to your d6 account for easy tracking and top-ups.
Get tag from school → Link in app → Top up balance → Child taps to pay
Collect the tuckshop tag from your school.
Open the d6 app and go to the Parent Portal.
Look for Tuckshop or Cashless in the menu.
Enter the tag number provided by the school.
The tag will be linked to your learner's profile.
Go to the Tuckshop section in the Parent Portal, select your learner's tag, and choose the amount you want to add. Pay using your saved card or another payment method. The balance will be available immediately.
Your child simply taps the tag at the tuckshop point-of-sale device. The purchase amount is deducted from their balance. You can view all transactions in the app.
Contact the school immediately to have the tag deactivated. Any remaining balance can usually be transferred to a new tag. The school may charge a fee for a replacement.
Some schools allow daily limits. Check the Tuckshop settings in the app or contact your school to enquire about this feature.
Refund policies vary by school. Contact your school directly to request a refund of any unused balance.
