How to register as a Follower of a Learner

Type <Ctrl> <F> to search for words in the article


The d6 Connect App is mainly used to communicate with the parents of learners in your school. To allow Granny's, Nanny's, and other users access to a learner's homework, marks, absentee and discipline entries, they have to get permission from the learner's parent. 

The school can see a list of followers at My School > Communication > Followers. Individual followers can also be removed here.

Learner Followers register as follows:

  1. Download and install the d6Connect app
  2. Register with your name, surname cell number and choose a password  (Do not use the Token option)
  3. Click the "Connect" button
  4. Choose "Student"
  5. Enter the parent and child ID numbers.
  6. The parent will receive a request that someone wants to follow their child on the app.
  7. Only the parent with the entered ID-Number can give permission to follow his/her child's information.
