Your d6 news feed can accumulate a lot of messages over time. While you cannot delete news items (as they are shared by the school), you can manage what appears in your feed.
Filter by group → Hide read items → Manage communities
No, individual news items cannot be deleted as they are controlled by the school. However, you can manage what appears in your feed using the options below.
Use filters: Tap on the filter icon to view news from specific groups or date ranges.
Customise your groups: Go to Settings > Customise Your Groups to unsubscribe from groups that are no longer relevant to you.
Remove old schools: If you have left a school, go to Settings > Manage Communities and remove that school.
If you have a lot of content, the feed may take longer to load. Ensure you have a stable internet connection. You can also try clearing the app cache to improve performance.
Go to Settings > Manage Communities and untick that school. If the school still appears, they may still have you on their system. Contact the school to be removed.
The app does not have an archive feature. News items remain in your feed until they are removed by the school or automatically expire based on the school's settings.
This depends on the school's settings. Most schools keep news visible for several months, but older items may eventually disappear.
