How to set up Decision Guidelines
Decision Guidelines specify the exact calculation method the system must use to determine promotion results for each grade. This includes term results, year marks, and promotion marks. For the FET phase (Grade 10–12), this is required for calculating promotion marks correctly.
My School > System > Curriculum > Decision Guidelines

Do I need to update Decision Guidelines every year? Only if the weighting or calculation method changes. Otherwise the same settings carry over.
