How to set up user rights in d6, controlling which modules and functions each staff member can access.
My School > System > General > User Rights
How do I set up a user rights profile?
- Navigate to My School > System > General > User Rights.
- Click Add Profile.
- Enter a profile name, for example: Administrator, Educator, Finance Clerk.
- Tick the modules and functions this profile should have access to.
- Click Save.
How do I assign a user rights profile to a staff member?
Open the staff member's profile, select the User Rights Profile field and choose the applicable profile. Click Save.
Frequently asked questions
Can I copy an existing profile? Yes. Click Duplicate on any profile to create a copy that you can then modify.
