Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a staff attendance report and a staff attendance register?

The Staff Attendance Report shows historical attendance data already captured in the system. A Staff Attendance Register is a document used to record attendance as we advance. These are separate functions in the system.

Why are the day counts on the report incorrect?

The report uses the educator's term dates to calculate working days. Check that educator terms are set up correctly at My School > General > Terms for the relevant year.

Can I filter the report by who pays the staff member?

Yes. Use the institution filter to show staff paid by any institution, the Department of Education, or the Governing Body only.

Can I generate the report for a custom date range?

Yes. Select Period as the attendance period and then specify the from and to dates for the custom range.

Can I generate the report for specific staff categories only?

Yes. Select only the required staff categories from the left-hand list and use the double arrows to move them to the right before generating the report.
