The Annual Teams and Team Managers module links the school's permanent team records to a specific academic year and assigns team managers to each team for that year. This configuration must be completed annually before learner allocations and sport reporting for the relevant year can be processed.
My School > Sport > Sport Teams > Annual Teams and Team Managers
This step activates the school teams that will participate in sport for the selected academic year. Only teams selected here will be available for learner allocation and reporting.
Click the tab labelled Step 1: Select teams for 20XX.
Select the correct academic year from the year selector.
Select the desired teams from the left panel.
Click the right arrow to move the selected teams into the active allocation for that year.
Click Save to confirm the selection.
This step assigns a manager to each active team for the selected year. Team managers are linked to the annual configuration and are not permanently linked to the team record itself.
Click the tab labelled Step 2: Select team managers for 20XX.
Select the correct academic year from the year selector.
Select the house teams from the Teams list.
Select the team manager from the left panel.
Click the right arrow to assign the manager to the selected team.
Repeat steps 3 to 5 for each house team.
Click Save once all managers have been assigned.
Only teams activated in Step 1 appear in Step 2. Ensure you have completed Step 1 for the selected year before attempting to assign managers.
No. Each annual configuration is year-specific. Team selections and manager assignments must be set up again at the beginning of each new sport season.
Yes. A manager can be assigned to more than one house team within the same academic year.
