How to upload an SA-SAMS database

This function allows the user to upload an existing SA-SAMS database to the system. The purpose is to store information that has been imported in SA-SAMS into d6+.

How do I upload the database?

After deploying a database in SA-SAMS, a file will be saved on your computer in one of the following locations:

  • C:\Program Files\EdusolSAMS\Data

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\EdusolSAMS\Data

  • C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\EdusolSAMS\Data

  1. Use the same computer from which the deployment was done.

  2. Click Choose file to locate the database on your computer.

  3. Ensure the file is zipped before uploading.

  4. After selecting the database, click Continue to upload it.

Frequently asked questions

What type of file must I upload?

The file must be in a zipped format. If the file has not been zipped yet, do so on your computer before uploading.

Must I use the same computer?

Yes. Use the same computer from which the SA-SAMS deployment was done, as the file is only stored on that specific computer.
