The Learner Support module is a centralized repository for documenting academic, emotional, or behavioral interventions. It allows the school to maintain a chronological record of support provided to Learners, ensuring continuity of care and professional record-keeping.

To document assistance, interventions, or suggestions provided to a learner. This data serves as a formal record for parent meetings, departmental requirements, and internal handover processes between educators.
Upon entering the module, the system displays existing support entries based on the active session parameters.
Filter Criteria: Use the drop-down menus to filter by Academic Year, Term, Grade, Class, or Support Category.
Exporting Data: Users with Excel export rights can click the export icon to generate a report for formal support meetings or printing.
To record a new intervention:
Click the Load Support button.
Locate the learner using the Search bar or grade/class filters.
Click the View (Blue Eye) icon next to the learner's name.
Select Category: Choose between Barriers to Learning, Chronic Conditions or Social and Mental Issues.
Select Date: Choose the date the support was administered or suggested.
Action Taken: Select the specific intervention step from the predefined list.
Comments: Enter technical details regarding the support provided. While optional, specific descriptions are recommended for historical accuracy.
Click Continue to commit the record to the database.
Term-Based Silos: Records are indexed by Year and Term. To view historical support from previous terms, the filter must be manually adjusted.
Data Linking: Support entries are linked to the learner’s unique ID and are visible to staff with the appropriate permissions in the Learner Overview.
Predefined Actions: The "Type of Support" and "Action Taken" lists are populated from the system’s general configuration to ensure standardized reporting across the school.
User Rights: Access to view, load, or export support data is restricted based on User Roles (typically 1.3 Learner / Parent Administration). This ensures the confidentiality of sensitive learner intervention data.
Sequential Loading: A learner must be active in the system before support can be logged. Support cannot be backdated to a period before the learner’s official enrollment date to maintain data integrity.
