How to view and interpret learner overview information

The learner overview provides a comprehensive snapshot of each learner's profile, including personal details, academic progress, attendance records, and behavioural information. This centralised view helps educators and administrators understand each learner's overall performance and needs.

To access a learner overview:

  1. Click on the Learner option from the main navigation menu.
  2. Search for or select the learner whose overview you want to view.
  3. The overview page will display key information about the learner.

Information displayed in the learner overview:

  • Personal Details: Name, date of birth, contact information, and emergency contacts
  • Enrolment Information: Current grade, class, and subjects
  • Academic Performance: Recent marks, subject averages, and progress trends
  • Attendance: Attendance percentage and absence records
  • Behaviour: Behavioural incidents, commendations, and disciplinary actions
  • Health and Wellness: Medical information, dietary requirements, and special needs

To interpret the overview data:

  1. Review the learner's academic performance in context with their attendance patterns.
  2. Check for any flags or alerts indicating cause for concern.
  3. Use the behaviour records to understand social and emotional development.
  4. Reference health information when planning support or accommodations.

To generate reports based on overview data:

  1. Use the Generate Report function if available.
  2. Select the data elements you want to include in the report.
  3. Choose the report format and export option.
  4. Share the report with relevant stakeholders as needed.
