Sponsors

How do I view my sponsors?

Navigate to Sponsors in the sidebar to see a list of all your school's sponsors. The table shows sponsor name and logo, industry, status, sponsorship level, total sponsored amount, and active allocations count.

How do I add a new sponsor?

  1. Click Add Sponsor in the top-right corner

  2. Fill in the details: Name (required), Sponsor type, Registration number, Industry, Website, Logo URL, Status, Contact person, Notes

  3. Click Save

How do I edit or delete a sponsor?

Click on a sponsor in the table, then click Edit. Make your changes and click Save. Deleted sponsors are soft-deleted: hidden from views but data is preserved for audit integrity.

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I see a sponsor I just added?

Check the status filter on the Sponsors page. If the list is filtered to Active but your new sponsor was saved as Prospect, they will be hidden. Clear all filters to see every sponsor regardless of status.

Why is my sponsor's level showing incorrectly?

Levels are calculated from total sponsored amount. Check that all sponsorship contributions have been saved with the correct values. Levels update automatically when sponsorship data changes.

What is the difference between Lapsed and Declined?

Lapsed means the sponsor was previously active but has not renewed recently. Declined means they actively chose not to sponsor. Both are set manually and help you track which sponsors to re-approach in future.

The unallocated value seems wrong. What should I check?

Unallocated value = total sponsored minus total allocated. Refresh the page and verify your allocation agreed values are correct. If a sponsorship has no linked allocations, the full sponsorship value shows as unallocated.
