Match Imported Fields

Match Imported Fields

All fields that correspond with system fields will automatically be matched. If you are certain that an automatic matching should have taken place, but it did not, please compare the spelling of the fields in your Asset Import File and the system. The system will match both English and Afrikaans names of the same field, irrespective of the language, provided that the spelling is correct.

If a field is not otherwise matched, the value does not exist on the system. Please match the value accordingly then. This process will be explained in this article.

If you have imported a large number of assets, the match pages might take long to load and even appear to not respond at all. This is normal behaviour. Please be patient and do not refresh your browser.

If, however, you keep experiencing technical difficulties, please contact the Support Desk.

You can perform any of these steps in any particular order, but it is advised that you follow the process from import right through to the last step, in order to make sure all asset field matches are done.

You can also perform a couple of matches and come back later to complete the rest.
