How do I perform common actions?

  • Adding a record: Click the green “+ Add” button in the top-right corner of any list page. Fill in the form and click Save.

  • Editing a record: Click on any record in a table to view its details, then click Edit. Changes are saved when you click Save.

  • Deleting a record: From the detail view, click Delete. Altivo uses soft deletes — the record is hidden but preserved for audit purposes.

  • Searching and filtering: Use the search bar and filter dropdowns to narrow results by status, category, date range, or year.

What is the AI Assistant?

Altivo includes an AI-powered assistant accessible from the bottom-right corner of every page. It can Summarise your sponsorship programme, Benchmark performance against typical schools, and Suggest packages based on your available assets. The AI reads your live data but does not modify anything.

How are monetary values displayed?

All values are displayed in South African Rand (R) in the format R 1,234.56. Internally, all money is stored as whole cents to avoid rounding errors. When entering values in forms, enter the Rand amount (e.g. enter “5000” for R 5,000.00).

Frequently asked questions

Where do I find the Sponsor Portal link to share?

Click Sponsor Portal at the bottom of the sidebar. The URL in your browser is the link you can share with potential sponsors.

Can I collapse the sidebar to get more space?

Yes. Click the collapse icon at the top of the sidebar. Click it again to expand.

Does the AI Assistant change any of my data?

No. The AI Assistant reads your school’s data to generate responses, but it never creates, edits, or deletes any records.
