Type <Ctrl> <F> to search for words in the article

This document will explain how to edit and delete next of kin information.

EDIT NEXT OF KIN INFORMATION

  • Select in the dropdown list the specific particulars you want to search for.
  • Type in the specific information
  • Click on the Search button to search for the particulars you entered.
  • You can search for any information in the search block
  • To edit a next of kin, click on the radio button next to the next of kin and click on the edit button.
  • You can make changes to the Next of Kin’s information, please note that you can change the ‘Next of kin Relation’ by clicking on the drop down.
  • Click on the save button, the information will be saved now. You will be taken back to the ‘Next of Kin’ screen again. 


DELETE NEXT OF KIN

To edit a next of kin, click on the radio button next to the next of kin and click on the button or;
By clicking on the red circular button with the white x next to ‘Next of Kin’ person can also be deleted.
The learners need to be unlinked from the next of kin to deleted. To do so, edit the learner information.
If there are any learners linked to the next of kin, the following error will be displayed, "This next of kin can not be deleted because there are children linked to him/her."
If no learners are linked to the next of kin, you will be asked if you are sure you want to delete the next of kin, simply click yes or no.
