Emergency Numbers

Emergency numbers are the telephone numbers, addresses and other contact details of the nearest police station, ambulance, fire brigade, doctor or hospital. Emergency service details must be set up on the system.

My School > System > General > Databases > Emergency Numbers

How do I add emergency numbers?

  1. Select the applicable service from the drop-down: Police, Ambulance, Fire Brigade, Doctor or Hospital.

  2. Click Add to capture the information.

How do I view emergency numbers?

  1. Select the emergency service type by clicking the drop-down: Police, Ambulance, Fire Brigade, Doctor or Hospital.

  2. The details of the emergency service will then appear.

  3. Click Select on Map to view it on the map and see the address.

Frequently asked questions

How many emergency numbers can I add per service type?

You can add multiple entries per service type (e.g. several hospitals or doctors). Select the service type and click Add for each entry.

Where are these emergency numbers used in the system?

Emergency numbers are available on the system for quick reference by staff in an emergency situation. Keep the information up to date to ensure staff always have access to the correct contact details.

Can I edit or remove an emergency number?

Yes. Select the applicable service type, double-click the entry to update or remove the details, then click Accept changes or Reject changes when done.
