The Age Statistics report generates statistical data about learners based on age, language, gender, population group, family status or disability.

How do I generate the Age Statistics report?

  1. Click the drop-down arrow to select the desired statistics type. The following options are available:

    • Ages only (total)
    • Home language
    • Language of instruction
    • Preferred language
    • Gender and Home language
    • Gender
    • Population groups
    • Family status
    • Gender and Population groups
    • Primary Learning Disability

  2. Click View to generate the report.

What is the Age Statistics report used for?

It is used for DOE reporting and school planning. The report provides a demographic overview of the school's learner population and is typically submitted with provincial annual reports.

Can I combine more than one statistics type in one report?

No. Select only one statistics type per report. Generate separate reports for each type you require.

What data is used for the report?

The report uses the information held on each learner's profile. Ensure profiles are fully completed — especially language, gender, population group and disability information — for accurate statistics.
