How to manage Register Class Timetables

How to manage Register Class Timetables

The Register Class Timetables module provides a read-only, learner-centric view of the school's academic schedule. Once a timetable has been uploaded from the Timetabler module, administrators and educators can view exactly where a specific register class should be at any given period during the cycle.

My School > Staff > Timetables: Register Class Timetables

How do I view and print a register class timetable?

  1. Select the Academic Year and Term from the dropdown menus. The system loads the timetable data for that period.

  2. A list of all active register classes for the year is displayed. Click on a Register Class (e.g. Grade 8B) to open its schedule.

  3. The timetable grid shows cycle days, time slots, subjects, and assigned venues.

  4. To print, click Print this timetable. This is the standard method for providing learners with their personal copies.

Frequently asked questions

Why can't I see any data for my register classes?

This module depends entirely on data being uploaded from the Timetabler module. If no timetable has been published or uploaded for the selected term, the grids will remain empty.

Can I edit a subject or period directly in this view?

No. The information in this module is read-only. Any corrections to subjects, teachers, or periods must be made in the master timetable within the Timetabler module and then re-uploaded to d6+ to reflect the changes here.

Why must I select a specific term to view a timetable?

Schools often update their schedules between terms to accommodate staff changes or curriculum shifts. Term-based loading ensures that historical and future schedules remain distinct and do not overwrite each other.
