How to export a Structure Report to Excel

The Structure Reporting feature allows you to export your reporting structure to Excel, including budget comparisons and monthly breakdowns.

Reports > Finances > Budget per Category > Structure Reporting

How to export a structure report

  1. Choose which structure you want to print from the drop-down box.

  2. Select the start and end date for the required statement.

  3. Choose whether to show account details. Selecting "No" shows only categories with actual totals. Selecting "Yes" includes the category, account code, account name, and actual totals.

  4. Choose whether to show monthly details. Selecting "No" shows only actual totals for the selected date range. Selecting "Yes" shows totals per month.

  5. Choose whether to include general ledger accounts with a zero balance.

  6. Under Budget Information, choose whether to include the budget on the report. If yes, select which budget to display alongside actual totals.

  7. Click Excel to export the report.

Where do I set up reporting structures?

Reporting structures are set up under Reports > Finances > Budget per Category > Reporting Structures. You can create multiple structures for different reporting needs.

Can I compare actual figures against the budget?

Yes. In step 6, choose to show budget information and select the relevant budget. The report will then display both budget and actual totals side by side.
